Tony Birtill Memorial lecture

Conradh na Gaeilge Liverpool and the Liverpool Irish Festival have jointly organised an event on Saturday October 21st 2023, to commemorate the life of Irish language historian, linguist and educator Tony Birtill.

The lecture will be given by his sister Angela and will be titled - Comrádaí agus Deartháir (Comrade and Brother). The event takes place on the second anniversary of Tony’s premature death in 2021.
