Further solidarity with Palestine

At the weekend a large group of Labour for Irish Unity members joined with hundreds of thousands of others in favour of peace in Palestine, in a march through central London organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC). Some pictures of the day are shown here, along the route that followed a path from Bank junction in the City of London to Parliament Square, where a number of speeches took place. The speakers included leading political figures such as Mary Lou McDonald and Jeremy Corbyn. And notably too at the march, whether in the crowd or on the platform, there was a strong Jewish presence. This was a protest shaped around values of peace and justice, with people wanting to see an end to the suffering on all sides in this horrific conflict.
